How do I submit a photo to the weather photo contest?
Submit your weather photo by e-mailing feedback@dmns.org with the photo(s) and entry form attached to the e-mail. The submission period closes on Thursday, March 12 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Any entries received after that time will not be allowed in the contest. Your photo(s) will be reviewed by Community monitors before they are posted on the photo contest page. Any decisions made by Community monitors are final.
Before you submit a photograph, please make sure it meets the following requirements:
* JPG, JPEG, or TIFF file format (ex. YourImage.jpg or YourImage.jpeg)
* Total file size must be less than 5 megabytes (MB)
How many photos may I submit?
You may submit a total of two (2) photos to the contest, both of which must fit under the category of weather. If more than two photos are submitted, only the first two received will be entered into the contest.
How do I know that you've received my entry?
After you submit your photograph(s), an e-mail will be sent to you acknowledging your entry. Once your photo(s) have been approved by Community monitors, they will be posted in the Nature Unleashed Weather Photo Contest media gallery.
How will my photograph be judged?
Viewers will be able to leave comments and rate the photos on a scale of 1-5 stars. Museum staff will use viewer commentary to help determine the winner.
